Post changed my mind

I was seriously considering selling the L, and buying a 98 GT... but I had such a great time at Sealy this weekend that I don't think I can bring myself to do it. I've met the coolest people because of the L, and there aren't many cars (or trucks) that turn heads like these.

I will tell you that I have owned my fair share of Mustangs and been in many Mustang Clubs. I will also tell you that for the 10 months that I have owned my Lightning, I have met more great people and got more help then ANY other car club or car fans of Mustangs put together. I cant imagine EVER giving up my L for this reason. Every other person you see owns a Mustang. Why would you want to be just normal? I like to be a little differant and have some thing special. You dont see a lot of Gen1's around, do you? I may own a Mustang again someday, but it wont be in replacment of my L!

Cool

Plus, the Mustang guys always flock to the Lightning after you blast off a low 13 second pass. And I just hauled 16 sheets of plywood in my truck yesterday, try that in a car!

I think you'll find as I have, that you are always welcome to join the Mustang crowd with a Lightning. My parents borrow mine a lot when they take their Cobra to shows and you'd really be surprised the folks that stop and want to know all about our trucks.
