Question forgot where a line goes...help

hey y'all, i just finished some "tinkering" underhood and fail to remember where the pink vacuum line goes. this is the one off the tree behind the upper, on the drivers side. it runs behind upper, and apparently along the pax side head to the front of the motor...whats this dam thing hook to?

I just went out and looked @ mine and it looked like it went to the smog pump area. Its too cold and dark to tell for sure. Hope this points you in the right direction.

hey shawn, looks like your advice got me somewhere after all. ive just been smelling WD40 for too many hours in a row i guess, its time for bed. but i did find it, it goes to the bottom of the small line divider off the smog pump...thanks man!

Hey Muddman, it does go to the smog pump. If you can't find it, try looking on the sticker that should be under you hood which tells where all the vacuum lines go. That is if you still have the stock hood.

hey Laurence,

yea, i found it late last night. mine dosent go directly on the smog pump, rather to a small cylinerical object perhaps 6" away from said pump. this cylinder is a three way connection between the pump, the "intake" (for the pump), and the tube that flows the air into the exhaust. on the bottom of this cylinder is a nipple for the pink line.
i did try and decipher the underhod diagram to no avail. i believe it sair "AIR A"...whatever in the heck that means...thanks for the help though!
