Question Spark plugs: white=lean, red=???

I can't remember.
I pulled a few of the plugs (#'s1-3) to get an idea of what might be causing my cold start probs.
They had a red tint to them, the electrodes seemed fine. But then again I really don't know what to look for.

Thanks!

The red is most likely caused by additives in the fuel you run in the truck. Lots of places add different chemicals to their fuel to help stabilize it while in storage tanks and shipment to keep them from breaking down on a molecularlevel over longer periods of time.

Also if you have ever run any type of leaded race gas this will also cause it. Mine have come out with a "purpleish tint to them from running C-16 in my LX.

Deposits from fuel additives from the fuel makers. Dont worry be happy.
