Smile EVERYONES ADVICE:BLOWER/NOS

Hi guys.I need your advice.I have a Mustang that I used to street race and she has all the goodies and of course NOS.I bought my Lightning last year because I needed a reliable truck to pull my big bass boat with that Im planning on buying.I am selling my stang but i really love that truck.I dont want to race it like I did my car but I do want to play some.I would love a small blower on my truck.Maybe an A trim or the equal to It,but for the money I would spend on a small blower,I could buy several NOS systems.I really dont know that I want to spray my truck.I need It to be reliable.I would love a blower, but they cost so much. Not really the cost of the blower, but everything that has to be bought to go with It.You guys give me your opinion ok?I would love to get into the low 14's.My mods are listed on my signature.I have to keep this truck able to tow my boat. How much would it cost for everything in your opinion, parts, blower and everything else? And also...everyone talks about Level10 shift kits.Would that be the Hydro System Valve Body?I want to order the kit so which one is it?Thanks guys

Cool

ok man, if cost is a major concern, then go with nitrous. nitrous is a great 'pacifier' until the time comes whaen a blower can be had without putting you in financial ruin. thats what i did. nitrous is great as long as you keep the greed factor out of it...set the kit at 100hp or so, and youll have a great time, should get you well into the 14's. it also wont affect towing or any other thing while the bottle is off. good luck.

Sounds like Powerdyne is the answer for you. At just under $2000, I believe it comes with all you need. It is always available (unlike N2O) and can get you well into the 13s, 12s if you want.

Cool

What kind of heads are you running on your stang? You mite consider swapping them for the stock ones on you L. The cam can be swapped too.You could have your heads ported and polished and do a cam change. The list goes on and on ,I guess it just deppends how much you want to spend. Go for the blower.

Yea I also vote for the powerdyne and shift kit.It Will also help you pull that boat better to.You can always take the belt off the powerdyne to and still run truck just fine.Should put you solid 13s easy.
