| Guest | O.k., I'm going to the races for the first time this year on Sep.9th in Stroudsburg. Here's my last minute shopping list: 180* thermostat, Rancho Traction bars, Wide band A/F ratio guage, 15inch rims with Drag radials (size unknown at this point). I'm ordering this week to get it all together by then, any comments additional ideas questions welcome. Suggest ordering prices/places, do you have item to sell anything, thanks alot guys you helped alot to get me this far, but I'm learning! |

| Guest | I am with Ken here too, I have the BFG's 295/60-15 drag radials and so far have not bested my 1.93's that I got off the stock tires. I don't know what it is,"dork", I cant get these things to hook worth a sh-t. Maybe it is me, dunno, I really think that the track is slick at test and tune nights. When I got the 1.93 on stock tires it was a sanctioned event and the track was kept well prepped. I hear the DOT hoosiers are a good tire too, besides the Mickeys. But make sure you get DOT tires and not slicks because you won't be allowed to run street legal. | Guest | Crap, I had no idea that A/F ratio guage was that much. I run a Vtech sprcrgr with my Mass air conv. kit and she runs like raped date when I disconnect the add fuel for the system, but the plugs show shes running real close to perfect/lean oh well scratch that I'll just leave that alone. Thanks Mike! |

| Guest | Dave94, as of now I've got the Mass Ait kit(inj.,EECcomp.,80mmsensor), a Vortech with app. 7lbs that kicks in at around 2500 rpms, a COMPLETE Level Ten tranny(from cooler to core) w/ 2700 stall on billet conv., custom nine inch rear w/ 4.11 locker, headers-true dual three inch exhaust(no cats borla) out both sides,k&n filter, jacobs coil, MSD ignition boost retard system, original heads ported to the max with much better flow/valves etc., and a steel driveshaft good to 750 horse, so everything is solid and ready to go, except for the traction problem. It's tuesday, I'm ordering Cal-Trac traction bars today so they will be on by then(Sep 9th). I'd rather go with BFG radials but I don't want to waste $400 on them if they won't hook up. What do I do! |

| Guest | Youv'e got a great combo..with the traction bars installed i would go with the ET streets ![]() You should be able to cut 1.7-1.8 sec 60ft times with them..I run them at 14psi at the lowest..but I don't have any aftermarket traction bars. My best thus far is a 1.9 ![]() |

| Guest | I also have no aftermarket traction devices and with the 325/50/15 BFG DragRadials Ive run 1.84-86 60ft times. They hook very good on a prepped track. Probably not on a crappy one. | Guest | Where Y'at HardCore, I know time is getting short but seat time w/ the new tires what ever they are. A test & tune night so you check tire pressure, launch RPM & practice your lights. I know this ain't as sexy as pulleys & traction bars but well worth it. Have Fun! ------------------ Abby Normal '92 F-150 302 Ford Performance Association Member 49 Cubes short of a full load! |
