| Guest | Well, over and done with, and I'm impressed. Drove up with cobrayankee, watched a few runs, and got in 2 runs in 2 hours. 1500 launch, no spin, let the computer shift, and left OD on, and pulled: R/T: .666 60': 2.171 1/8: 9.524 MPH: 73.29 1/4: 14.895 MPH: 91.41 Raced against a young girl driving her bf's truck. It was an '80s Ranger, 4 cylinder, but lowered/bagged/notched, and ran a 19.539@71.01. Took over an hour to get my 2nd (and last) run at 8:16. I just happened to be lined up against a black '00 Lightning (him with at least a new exhaust and air intake). I launched at 2500, and spun badly. I think I might have tread a little in the water ![]() R/T: .613 60': 2.462 1/8: 9.784 MPH: 73.74 1/4: 15.119 MPH: 92.02 e/t went up .25, but MPH went up .6 *shrug* My mods: custom catback, 14* timing, ASP 2 piece U/D pulleys, and K&N panel. More to come I'm happy with the results though.------------------ '93 F150 Type-R #4317 |

| Guest | Forgot to mention that those runs were with one full (rear) tank of gas also .I'm wanting a S/C in a very bad way, but can't justify it to the wife yet. However, my wife has shown an interest. She wants to go and run the truck now at Cecil. If I can get her hooked, the bug will have bitten both of us, and can get a lot done ![]() |
