Squealing noise after ignition off??

Recently I have come across a annoying problem. Everytime I turn the key off there is a long squealing/ whinning noise. It also occurs at low idle traveling speeds. Any help is appreciated.

If it sounds like mine then it maybe your EGR valve. Mine works fine (Just went through NJ Emissions) so I know it is not bad, I just makes the noise. I don't know how or if you can fix it from making the noise. Hope it take some of the worrying away
