Nope and are you running a blower or Nitrous with those TR6s?If not that is a very cold plug to be using.Later

Thumbs up

Stick with the NGKs for the money you spend on Splitfires you could do a complete tune up. Also Splitfires don't work well with poweradders from what i have heard. I had friend melt a set when he hit the NOS in his 68' Camaro.

Red face

Hey guys, Ken here. Here's my experience with Platinum Plugs. I installed Autolite double platinums in my 94L about 6 months before I installed my Kenne-Bell supercharger. Everything worked out ok, until I started developing 8 lbs. of boost. All of a sudden the truck was topping out at 5000 rpm, then it would act like the rev limiter was kicking in from the the Crane electronics. After doing a hard rundown trouble shooting the fuel, and electronics, I remembered an old post on the nloc that talked about platinum plugs, and blowers. I pulled out the plugs, and found every plug to have the outside electrode burned clean off. The only explanation I can give for the fact that it ran smoothly at idle, and up to 5ooo rpm is the the hi voltage electronics. Bottom line is "dont forget the plugs". BTW, I since have gone to the standard autolite coppers, and am well pleased with the results. KEN
