| Guest | Check out www.nloc.org/members/Documents/dec1999.pdf That's the winter '99 newsletter and it has a straight-up comparison of the Powerdyne, Kenne Bell, and Vortech written by someone who has owned all three (me). If you're simply looking for the best feeling street supercharger with the best looking install, go with the Kenne Bell. If you want the balls-out performance, go with the Vortech. If you want the best price and simplest install, go with the Powerdyne. The article covers the rest of the high points. ------------------ Later! Jeff S. | Guest | But really If you got the money go for the Vortec SQ.I love my powerdyne but I got to wanting more boost pretty fast and I dont think your going to get much more than 8 out of the powerdyne. Only reason Im still running the Powerdyne is its kind of seen as an underdog type thing."Its just a powerdyne must run 14s"Cya ------------------ Marcus Harrison 95Lightning TeamPowerdyne (AKA)Sport car killer NLOC#495 |

| Guest | Damon, none of the above. I built a 11:1 393 for the truck back in January. I hope to get it into the 12s on the motor and then spray it for the finishing touch. Marshall Werst has the old Powerdyne, Eric Mills has the Kenne Bell, and Vern Jones has the Vortech. Though I have to admit that the idea of some big chamber heads with a nice intercooled setup has crossed my mind once or twice... ------------------ Later! Jeff S.
