Question Dyno Tuning advice??

Guys: I finally should be getting a chip burned for my NOS setup. I'm going the dual program route and Powertrain dynamics in huntington beach will burn the chip. The truck is speed density, and i was wondering what parameters should be altered during the session?

I read somewhere that the convertor should be locked up in 3rd gear, and unlocked in 1st and second, but locked during each shift? Does that make sense?

Also, what type of gas do you reccomend for the NOS tuning?..Is 1/2 tank of 93 octane + one helping of NOS octane booster enough? Or is it better to run full race gas? what brand is safe for my 02 sensor?what will that raise my total octane to?

What rpm should i move the shift points to?
As of now i do not have a shift kit.

Should i completely eliminate the rev limiter? i never shift manually, also the speed limiter is gone of course

sorry about the long post, I just have a lot of questions and want this session to be worth it.It's a long drive to huntington beach. Any and all advice is appreciated.
thanks

I'd put in some good gas. If you can find a Sunoco, they sometimes have 100 octane unleaded. The highest unleaded I've heard of is 104 octane.

The good gas won't affect the tune, really, but it may help prevent a disaster should the tune be a bit dangerous.

With the stock cam and valve springs, I wouldn't move the shift points at all. I wouldn't eliminate the rev limiter either.
