| Guest | I don't totally agree ith John. My book shows the 351M, 400, 5.8L, & 1995 5.0L w/1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. '94 & earilier 5.0L & 7.5L w/1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. The 429, 351C my book doesn't show I only have the '80-'96 Ford Pick-ups & Bronco Haynes Repair Manual. I have a '80 w/351M and I use the 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 & is usally cast into the manifold. ------------------ normal people worry me O.E.M. isn't fast enough Shawn Schafer Minot, ND |

| Guest | I stand corrected on the firing order for the m engines. I have never worked on one, and assummed that it was the traditional V8 firing order. That's what I get for assuming. But your book is sort of wrong about the firing order for the 5.0. All 5.0 HO engines produced, starting in the 82 Mustang used the Windsor firing order. All other 5.0 used the traditional firing order. The 429 uses the same order as the 460. The Clevland is up for grabs, I don't know for sure. ------------------ Keep it safe...
