Post FFW Ennis

Again, the Top Truck Class is the step child group. Let the track Friday night at 8:00 PM with the last anouncement of any qualifying runs being in Mod Motor only that night. Come in Saturday morning only to find out that they decided to run round 1 of Top Truck Qualifying Friday night also. Why do we continue to put up with FF at all I will never know. But there are several that will not oblige FFW next year for any reason.I hope the NLOC quits wasting their money with the FFW group and uses that money elsewhere.

i agree andre, i wish that i had another chance to qualify, making it three, that is why i was not in such a hurry to arrive in ennis, of course i guess i should have read the pamphlet that was sent to my house, did not know that they were running any qualifying rounds on friday, at least they didn't last year. all that was on friday was test and tune, oh well, always next year. btw, my truck is the 1995 white truck with the graphics on the side. all in all, the people that i did meet in the top truck category was very friendly, and showed great sportsmanship, everyone out to have a little fun. can't wait for next year, hope to have a couple more though, maybe more money can be up for grabs, who knows. kudos to everyone that made the class what it is, a very respectable group of people. good luck to everyone in 2002, maybe i can do a little better next year, God willing.

Hey Andre, yeah, that was me, the guy in the older white Lightning was my buddy from Orange, Texas. I tell you, I was a bit nervous when I was told I would be racing you. I have heard a lot about you just hanging out on this sight. then to top it off, I even heightened my nerves that I had left after the first round to hear I would be racing the King of the event, Morrison. the whole weekend was extremely eventful for me, I will truly never forget any of it. Thanks for all the fun, and the instant gut checks.
