January issue of Flashes

Hi everyone,

We are trying something new. Due to the cost and effort of sending newsletters, we are trying to send them electronically this time. It's a learning process, that's for sure.

The first batch that went through had a potentially invalid link. Well, by that I mean that it might not take you where you are supposed to go when you click on it. However, it WILL work if you cut/paste it into your browser. Sorry, but again...learning process.

All the emails to "aol" "sbcglobal" "earthlink" "charter" and a bunch of others were kicked back. Due to the way that we sent them, those systems thought it was spam.

So, now I'm sending those out by batches. I'm limited as to how many I can send per day, so it will take a couple days! Be patient. We hope it will be worth the wait.

If you don't receive one in a reasonable length of time, please email me and make sure that I have your latest email address!!!!

For the ones I have no email address for (or invalid email address), I'll be sending paper copies to you next week.

I've been informed that people who use AOL are "special". If you use AOL or the free AOL mail, check the SPAM folder. Even with AOLs filter program on the lowest setting to allow for the most mail to arrive, it will probably go there. People with DEFAULT mail settings, it will definitely go the SPAM folder.

Just a heads up!!!

Nan are there any plan to archive any of the old Flashes this way in the future.

I don't publicly release the archived Lightning Flashes until the next one comes out. Only paid members get the newsletter when it is first released.

Justin, you should have yours now.

I just finished sending the rest of the ones that I have correct email addresses for. Some of the addresses are bad, so if you didn't get one, let me know at Nan@nloc.net ... after checking your spam filter, of course!
