Well, we want to pick a meeting place south of tampa along i-75 (which we will take south for 200mi). I would say Riverview/Gibsonton area, then SVTRickey can hook up with the rest of us when we pass i-275 in palmetto area since he will be coming over the skyway. I would recommend the large RaceWay gas station on Gibsonton DR about 1/10 mi east of the interstate as a good meeting point which is on the way for everyone.

Sounds great to meet and thanks for looking out for me. I am game, I also have a laser jammer and radar detector, but don't think speeding is a good idea due to it being bike week.

i wouldnt worry so much about that. If we were going in the direction of bike week, then that would be a different story. From what people have told me, they see 98% of the cops a couple of miles before getting into Daytona.

Yeah,the raceway sounds good.Its about a 90 minute drive from there.I used to make that run twice every 2 weeks when I would come pick up my son and takehim down then bring him back home a couple days later.He lived pretty close to that Raceway then.

That's the one. MapQuest calls for a 2 hour drive, so if we are supposed to be there by 2pm, I'd recommend meeting at 11am at the gas station.
