Question Need Help Installing New Instrument Cluster

Ok so I'm trying to install a different instrument cluster that I've modified into my Lightning. I need to know if I need the keys programed to this instrument cluster when I install it? Do I need to disable PATS? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you have to go to a ford dealership and have the pats system programed. that cluster has to be programed so it will communicate with the trucks computer, and the pats box thats in or behind the steering column. its like a 3 link system, and all 3 have to communicate or the truck wont start.
