Help

I need help. My dad has a 2000 ford lightning. Unfortunatly he just passed away and I am using his truck to move stuff out of his house. This might be the dumbest question ever but I cant seem to get his bed cover to open. Its the stock cover that came with it in 2000. I have tried to pull on it and all kinds of things. Is there some kind of lock or something? Thanks for the help.

Unhappy

Sorry to hear about your Dad.

If it is the factory soft cover, start at the rear corners. There should be a fabric, (or nylon), loop sewn in to get ahold of. You kind-of have to 'roll' the edge out of the retaining channel.

Hope this helps.

Jake...

yes thats exactly the cover. I will try to roll it today thanks for the help. I noticed there are plastic blocks in the corners also that you can pull down and was not sure if you had to pull on those also.
