stereo question

Hi I am a gen 2 lightning owner based in the uk. Its a 1999 to 2001 model. I am looking to change the standard head unit for an after market one and need the wiring adaptor for uk wiring. Does anybody know the part number and indeed details of where I can get one from.

thanks

Dale

hi dale, i'm from the UK as well and about to buy a Lightning!!

I think you'll find that the wiring adaptors are no different, so you can get a US one without a problem. Its only a standard ISO lead you need.

Hope that helps!

when I got my headunit from crutchfield they sent me an adapter that plugged up to the stock wires. all you have to do is connect the wires from the adapter to the wires in the back of your new headunit. I don't think that the wiring would be any different in the UK but I imiagine the advisors at crutchfield could answer that for you.
