Trying to install a new pump anyone run into this problem the pump is not a direct toss in. looks like I have to attach it somehow but without cutting the plastic housing holding the intank fuel pump I am not sure what to do -93 working on making a 427 |

| Bleeder of the Ford Blue! | Try posting this in the regular GEN 1 tech section below, I believe that you have to grind down or cut off the nipple, so that the pump will fit into the seal in the housing, you do have to re-use the canister.

| Registered User | Gave up on it I hooked up the old pump after BBK said they had no clue what to do I also asked the ford guys here if they had any direct replacements that flow better and they didn't know hopefully the stock pump will supply my NA 427 and 30 lb injectors if not I will look into an inline fuel pump anyone up grade or install an inline? |
