Just got a 95

Hey, I just bought this 95 and I have few ques. about what is stock and not.I also want to know if anybody makes a new air intake system or has made their own. Specifically I would like to know what size injectors came on these trucks and what size T.B and Mass air sensor. Thanks

Welcome to the site.

Most of the questions you are asking can be answered by conducting a search in the forum...

K&N makes a CAI, but it's not impressive at all. Here is a link to a homemade how to:

For All Of Those CAI Questions!

Try these links for info on stock Lightning's:

Ford 1995 Lightning news releases

19# injectors came in the truck stock. And the factory throttle body is 65MM; the truck came SD from the factory...not mass air.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies.I have a question though. My truck has red injectors which leads me to believe they are30lb'ers. I also have a 95 Bronco with a 331 and a single 68 turbo.I have 42's in that. Are you sure of the SD thing because I bought my Bronc brand new and it came with mass air,and alot of people tried to tell me it came with SD.I don't believe the dealer would do this change on the lot.The bronc is also a 95.

Thanks, giddyup. The guy who owned this saved me some time with the conversion then. I have to dig into this truck some. The meter looks like a stock Ford piece and the injectors are Ford also. They are red which leads me to believe the are 30lb'ers. Why would the knock sensor be unplugged.Any ideas.I plugged it in and it made no diff. I tested it and it is working. Thanks again.

There's no knock sensor on Gen1's, even if it's been converted to MA. So, whatever is unplugged is something else. It sounds like you have the FMS MA conversion, which came with 30's and 80mm MA. Pics would help out. Also, check the code on your ecm.

BTW - welcome!

Thanks for the welcome.Iwill take a couple of pictures and post them.I found something else that is pretty cool.I noticed a deep trans pan when I bought it,which was good.Well,I changed the oil today and guess what, it has an e-40d from performance automatic.Nice.Iwanted to get one for the Bronco but I couldn't afford it at the time I needed a rebuild. Thanks again.
