| 83F1 | manual more fun I'm gonna change my lightning's tranny to a five speed. It looks like everything from a regular f150 will fit. Only 300 and 302 came 5 speed. I know everything from a 302 will fit. I'm not sure about the driveshaft. Any opinions experience or concerns will be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

| 5 gears, & getin Blown!!! Paid Member  | First off.... Welcome to the club...., 2nd.... Check the Gen1 forums.... search 5-sp, also check the TOTM forums..... There are a few Gen1 L's with a tremic TKO-600.... Swap is rather easy, if you can do your own wrenchin, and are mechanically inclined... its not a week-end project, but worth it. Also check my gallery... lots of pics....
