manual more fun

I'm gonna change my lightning's tranny to a five speed. It looks like everything from a regular f150 will fit. Only 300 and 302 came 5 speed. I know everything from a 302 will fit. I'm not sure about the driveshaft. Any opinions experience or concerns will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

First off.... Welcome to the club...., 2nd.... Check the Gen1 forums.... search 5-sp, also check the TOTM forums..... There are a few Gen1 L's with a tremic TKO-600.... Swap is rather easy, if you can do your own wrenchin, and are mechanically inclined... its not a week-end project, but worth it. Also check my gallery... lots of pics....
