Rebuilding First Gen. Transmission!Input?

Hello,
I have a 1994 Lightning with a powerdyne supercharger and all the goodies. A while back, the transmission finally went out and I am going to take it to get rebuilt? I wanted some input from anyone with good suggestions. Also, was the shift point on these first gen. at 5000 RPM. Get back to me.
