Where to find hood

does ne one out there know where to find an aftermarket hood for the gen 1 lightning..seems like i looked every where for one that is not the ram air

Cervini had cowl hoods, and LMC has wide cowl(about grille width) hoods. Probably more, I just do not remember the rest.

I have a cervinis hood ans it looks pretty mean. definitely the place to go.

cervinis makes a nice cowl hood and the fit is great. Also VFN make a Cowl hood also for the gen 1. I do not know anyone with one yet. There was alot of talk about it at L-Fest.

I got a VFN, sorry no pics yet.
fits good, real light.
5" extended to window, lift off.
they make bolt on also.

I would love to see what the VFN looks like. I have the Cervini's ram air on mine, but was not pleased with their after-sale support. How heavy is the VFN hood?

That is a sweet looking hood. I like how it flares from front to back. Not like the cervini's witch is just one steady cowl. And it only weights 33lbs in the box shipped to you in the box.
