Get this one, last week the truck rolled back out of the staged lights causing me to de-stage resulting in a red light DQ! 15 years racing...thats the first time its happen (even with a 5spd stang never happened)...I guess the point of the story is don't stage too shallow either!

Yeah I figured I had to throw in one of Mudd's Canadian wisecracks before he did

But following the traction thread, when I had a bottle on the truck and raced with street tires (Firehawks) I would let them down to 17lbs launch on the motor and mat it about 10-15' out. I was able to get 60' times in the 1.86-8 range. With slicks (29x9's) I would just stall it as high as it would go and nail it right out of the hole. My best 60' was a 1.78 no traction bars no nothin', oh and no wheelhop

Speaking of 60ft times...anyone want to donate to my "need a 2600-2800 converter" fund? Glad to see this forum!

Yeah, Im taking donations myself! I need a set of CalTracs and a new set of slicks. Im hoping for some mid to low 12s tonight and a little tuning, also. I dont know what this Hypertech chip has in it so I dont know where the rev limiter is. It came with the truck. Ill find out soon.
