Damn, from 2000-5000 you have no less than 600 ft/lbs of torque.

Are ya gonna use a Powerstroke intercooler ? I have a buddy that works at a body shop and he got me a used one with a small ding for free

Yes I am using the powerstroke cooler but I'm going to have a friend look at the tanks on it and see if we can make them bigger.

Raymond what are you building for a motor ?

Basically stock shortblock, except for the rather large cam, TFS R heads, box upper, blah blah, and as much boost as I can make I've got a 2.5 pulley now for the S-trim and hopefully I'll be putting on a YS-trim shortly

Well Raymond hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have mine done and i guess I'll see how much boost a stock lower end can take I'm going to shoot for 15#'s and see what happens. That should push me deep into the 11's I think if it will all hold together

wassup fellas. my powerstroke intercooler is in. now my ys-trim should be in either friday or monday. i too will be running 14# boost on a all stock long block. the only problem i can forsee is lifting the stock headbolts. arp bolts wouldnt be a bad idea. but well see. raymond if you do go with the ys, get it from powered by ford. i did extensive shopping aroung and they had it cheapest at 2050.00$ i recieved prices from 2400 to the 2050. later fellas. paul

Paul when you mounted the intercooler what did you do with the trany cooler? I keep thinking about that but I'm not ready to tear it apart to see where it will fit

Where did you guys get your Desktop Dyno's from? I looked through my recent Summit catalog and didn't see it in there.

i mounted it in front of the intercooler. i rebent the lines. the cooler has 3 mounting points. i cut the one to the left and elininated it. then i bent the top one forward. then i drilled a hole through the top of the headlight support and used a bolt and nut to secure it. next i used the mount on the right side of the trans cooler. i also mounted it to the headlight support. there is a center piece of the support which runs down the middle of the front of the truck. i drilled a hole in this center section and used a bolt and nut to secure the right mount to it in this area. kind a hard to explain. the rebent lines are kinda ugly so im gonna eliminate them and use ford recommended trans fluid hose. basically youve gotta get the intercooler in, clearance and mount the headlight support. then test fit the transcooler until you get it right. other guys have mounted them behind the bumper using homemade brackets. but this is not necessary and too much work. then method i explained is a good solid mount and gets plenty of airflow. if you dont understand any of this then i will try to explain it more clearly. later paul
