YO!
WAZ UP BUDDY?!

I run a 15/7 wheel w/ a 225/70/15 tire up front. The back are 15/8 wheels w/ 275/60/15 tires, not sure of the backspace. I street them, so my slicks are mounted on some stock steel 88' F150 wheels, 15/8. Slicks are M/T ET DRAG 28/10.5/15.
I'm looking for a set of weld 15/10's to mount a bigger slick onto. The 28/10.5's hook alright when spraying outta the hole, but not great. I have 60's in the 1.9 range, which is pretty crappy. I'd like to at least step up to a 15/10 to make a better contact patch on those slicks, if not go w/ a bigger set I have laying here. The main problem is the wheel width......sooooooo.......budddddddyyyyyyyy??????? ???????? Ya wanna sell me those 15/10's?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

LOL, J/K.......actually there were a couple of us in the DELVALLO upset about you snatching them up, lol.

I'm not sure I have any pics. The only ones I know of were taken by steve at CECIL COUNTY DRAGWAY a couple months ago. There is one where you can see the wheels, but I have the steel wheels on the back, welds up front. Check it out at:

http://community.webshots.com/user/blackbolt100

Click on the section of pics from CECIL 11/16/01, my truck is the red gen1 w/ the white hood & white roll pan. The truck now sports a white bed cover too, lol. It kinda got the name, "CAPTAIN'S CANDY CANE" from this outing......too funny. They wanted me to decorate it for Christmas w/ lights, garland, & little reindeer on the hood. LMAO!
She'll be heading to the body shop shortly though.
I'll try and get a better pic tomorrow if I have time, & email it to you.

Later buddy

Oh, P.S.......I try not to type in CAPS anymore. I'm a "MODERATOR" now & using caps is not proper "computer etiquete"......ALTHOUGH IT IS CAPTAIN'S TRADEMARK, LOL!

Cool..your truck looks sweet

I'm running some 205/75/15's up front. Narrowest I could go with the weight of the truck.

My slicks are 30x12.5x15 and are "huge".
the 15x10 inch draglites should give me a better 60ft time than my previous best which is also a 1.9

I might actually want to sell/trade the 15X10 draglites because they look like they stick out of the wheel well just a little. I'm not sure yet but i'll let you know if you are still interested at that time.

Good luck getting those 12's.

WOW, a 205/75/15? That's real tiny. You're running that on a 15/8, right?

I'm definitly interested in those 15/10's Dave! Seriously let me know buddy, I'm dieing to get a hold of some. Would you be selling them soon?
I actually think I found a full set of draglites, 15/8 & 15/10's. They're a bit pricey & the guy won't break them up, but I might buy them & keep the 15/10's & sell the 15/8's. I dunno yet, still up in the air.
How's your tuner working? I got my laptop already, but Raymond is waiting for the shipment to come from Shiftmaster to ship them to us. Have you installed it or played around with anything yet? We run pretty much the same combo (you got a bit more mods), and I'll be switching to the NOS 2116 plate kit next season, so 2 of us working on the tuner w/ the same nitrous setup will be good. If you find a setup that works well, share the wealth bro, LOL!

As for your slicks? Are you spinning those coming outta the hole on the bottle? I've had a few 60's in the high 1.8 range, spraying outta the hole after a huge burnout. Normally I spin to a high 1.9 or 2.0 consistently. This is why I believe the 15/8 wheel isn't wide enough for those 10.5 slicks. The contact isn't laying correctly, and to step up to a wider slick for next season requires at least a 15/10. I would think they wouldn't stick out that mch, do they? You have any pics of your truck w/ the welds on?

Cap..I have the tuner installed in my truck's computer out of the truck. I am currently running STRUCKBY's computer in the truck. I have installed the software on my home computer and will buy a laptop soon.
I have not played with the EEC tuner witht he computer yet I hope to get it all sorted out right after new year. Raymond is kinda busy at the moment

My tuning/mods etc..are always open for discussion, I like to help fellow nitrous junkies

Mods: 4.56 gears
Bassani headers/x pipe/race magnums
March pulleys
Ford 1.72 roller rockers
Aeromotive adjustable fuel reg.
Short belt
Snubbers on stock traction bars.
Art Carr 3000 stall convertor

I run the ET streets at 15psi for the best wear pattern and it results in 1.9-2.0 60 ft times. It kinda skips off the line when I launch..on the juice always. I power brake to about 2000 RPM and the floor it off the line. I think I will do better with some Cal tracsŪ and the larger 15x10 rim in the rear.

Your truck probably benefits with the shorter tire..it helps your gearing..mine is high allready so I need the tall tire to keep the RPM's down.

I think my truck should be in the 12's allready at sea level. It has gone 13.3 @100mph hitting the limiter at 3000ft elevation.

With the light rim/tire combo(25lb fronts) and (45lbs rear) vs the 70lb stock rim tire combo and the ported lower GT 40 intake i'm installing the truck should fly

I think you allready know my fuel/timing settings if you need them again when you run the wet kit let me know You should probably run a little richer tune because you are closer to sea level and should play it safe. I can gt away with higher bottle pressure/timing/fuel etc because of the elevation.

I got the pics they look great..I like your rear welds...but am not sure if they would work well with my big slicks. I'll definately get back to you about my rear rims after I try them out at the track.

Good luck, and like Larry said "PAINT THAT HOOD!!!!"

LMAO, yea....that's why they call it "CAPTAIN'S CANDY CANE", LOL! She'll be heading to the body shop soon....I swear. I just have no time w/ work and all. I'm gonna check a few places monday. My father is the police mechanic in Pt. Pleasent, so I'm gonna take a ride w/ him on monday to check w/ a few of his body guys.

And I'm pretty sure about your setup Dave. 10 degrees base timing & 45 psi fuel pressure w/ vacuum off for a 150 shot, right? I'm missing a couple fittings for the solonoid to plate & the intake gaskets, so it'll be a little bit till I get the plate in. Besides, the fu@kin' winter is really showing it's ugly face now here in Jerzey......DAMMITT!!!!!!! I really despise the cold, and HATE that dreaded 4 letter "S" word w/ a passion! No, not "SH!T", but "SNOW"! They're calling for some sunday/monday.......bastards!

Anyway, it'll give me time to figure out this EEC tuner. I have'nt recieved it yet, but am patently waiting it's arrival, lol.
