| Guest | Hi guys, this is the update to the previous post. However this time I can show you exactly what I meant in the first post. I would like to get a picture from all NJ L owners so I can post it on my site in the NJ L Owners Gallery: http://www.4adrive.com/jerseyvics/th.../svtlightning/ Please send me your Truck's Image to: jerseyvics@msn.com With it include your Truck's production # out of how many total produced, obviously the year... your first name and what county in Jersey you reside in.... The images will be resized to this: the production # will go right under the image along with a Model year listed, I'm thinking I should color code each year like blue - 99, green 00, yellow - 01, red - 02, or something like that... please suggest what you like! Also you can see on the page a map of Jersey with the counties, thats where your names will be listed besides the pictures! Thanks in Advance! And don't hesitate to e-mail me! --Russ ![]() ------------------ www.jerseyvics.com |

| Guest | Hi Russ - This sounds like a really great idea. Just one question though - you want gen 1's and 2's? I noticed you didn't list the gen 1's in the list of color codes: "I'm thinking I should color code each year like blue - 99, green 00, yellow - 01, red - 02" I got a 93 - that's why I ask John [This message has been edited by Johnny Cat (edited 12-26-2001).] |

| Guest | Wooo Hooo, glad you guys are interested! you know I really know very little about these trucks... all I know I liked what I saw at the meets that we had! I want all Lightning owners of NJ to be featured, don't wanna leave anyone out, no discrimination with me... so whatever you got send it my way: jerseyvics@msn.com I am color coding the years as I go along, so far I've picked: 99 - red - #FF0000 00 - blu - #0000FF 01 - grn - #00FF00 perhaps for the other models I'll chose something besides Binary 0's and F's! heheh! Captain what year L is your's? |

| Guest | I think its '94 so I'll put that on, check it out kids: OK, since there aren't that many good colors I can use... 1st Generation L's will have the model year with a specific color but black shadow 2nd Generation L's will have the model year with a specific color but white shadow! You Guys are the best thanks for the responses!!! [This message has been edited by JerseyVics (edited 12-26-2001).] |

| Guest | yup, Thanks John! Talk about competition, you first gen L owners are certainly competing with the second gen... hehe Check this out: Isn't that weird? I mean almost everything matches! The years go in proper order! The colors of the latest models are the same, the other two models are similar color! Even the middle pix in each row is taken at the same spot in E-town! Weird but nice!!! --Russ |

| Guest | Hey Russ, I'll get you a pic real soon also. I gave my girl Stacie a digital camera for xmas, so hopefully she'll be nice and take a shot of my truck for you. The pictures look great, keep up the good work. Oh, and a little suggestion; it might be too much, i'm not sure, but maybe it would be neat if you could manage to stick in the owners name somewhere in the pic ![]() ------------------ Laurence Weiler NLOC #339 12.78 @ 105.47MPH |

| Guest | you know I would for sure, but there are drawbacks to that so thats why I didn't include the name... someone on f150online said that they do not want to let Ford know their build number because of the amount of mods they got Ford would void their warranty (well duh!) thats why I'm trying to make this page as specific as possible and as annonimous as possible at the same time. Counties are perfect example, if Ford wants to be noissey and start a hunt for L owners they will never determine for sure based on a County I listed... Plus I try not to use forum handles but first names instead because its also rather annonimous... Ford cannot tell you for sure how many Russ's own a Lightning in Bergen county.... They could have a list but they will never single someone out to void their warranty because of their mods. I can however link to your web site or like I do for those who don't have one to the forum where I met them... you'll see that a bunch of pictures on the site point to this board or to f150online... I can also link to any photo album you have online, or even your online profile in this forum. Simply let me know what you'd like! --Russ |

| Guest | Brian, I would definitely do a page for all L owners but it gets complicated with a large request on that and it might not be worth it. like for example, I did this page for all my Jersey friends: www.4adrive.com/jerseyvics/club thank all my NYC friends started whining that I'm not featuring them on the site (greedy bastards not one of them even links back to me and they always request a lot from me.. heheheh, kidding, we're actually best friends with all of them - thats why they don't link hahahah) so I made this page: www.4adrive.com/jerseyvics/club/crownvic and at first the response was great but after a week the pix stopped comming in... people lost interest and I was intending to get this page much larger.... I'll have to see how the NJ L page does, if its good... and ahem ahem if some tuners are willing to contribute a few coints for the efforts ahem ahem... i'll definitely do a Universal L owner page.... I just paid 35 bux for my domain name www.jerseyvics.com so soon the URL's to the pages will get a bit shorter and it will be even easier to navigate my site... ![]() |
