I think you ought to sell one set to me so you can use the extra money in you search for those oh so close 12 second timeslips. | Guest | I DON'T STEAL ALL THE GOOD DEALS, I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS THE FIRST TO RESPOND TO THAT POST. I'M USUALLY THE ONE WHO GETS SCREWED CAUSE I WORK SO FRIGGIN' MUCH. EVERY NITE WHEN I GET HOME FROM WORK AT LIKE 1 A.M., I CHECK THE PARTS SECTION AND 99% OF THE TIME IF THERE'S SOMETHING I NEED POSTED FOR SALE......10 PEOPLE HAVE RESPONDED TO IT ALREADY. I'VE MISSED COUNTLESS PARTS THAT I'M PISSED ABOUT, INCLUDING THAT EXTRUDE HONE LOWER INTAKE MUDDMANN MENTIONED. I SENT THAT GUY AN EMAIL, LIKE 3 DAYS AGO & HAVEN'T HEARD BACK YET. I ONLY NEED THE BACKS SO I CAN STEP UP TO A WIDER SLICK NEXT SEASON. I'LL BE RUNNING THE WHOLE NMRA CIRCUIT, AND STEEL WHEELS JUST LOOK LIKE **** FOR SLICKS. I'M ALSO GOING TO A DIFFERENT WET NITROUS SYSTEM & UPPING THE JETTING, SO MY LITTLE 10.5" SLICKS JUST AIN'T GONNA CUT IT ANYMORE. I DID OFFER TO BUY THE WHOLE SET IF HE DIDN'T WANT TO BREAK THEM UP, BUT WOULD BE GETTING RID OF THE 15/7'S.....MAYBE SELL THEM TO MY DELVALLY PARTS SWAPPING BUDDY FOR WHAT I PAID FOR THEM?!?!?! THEN MAYBE YOU COULD JUST ORDER THE REARS FROM SUMMITT OR JEGS? ISN'T A 15/10 A TAD EXTREME FOR STREET DUTY ANYWAY? EITHER WAY, I HAVEN'T HEARD BACK FROM THAT GUY.....I DUNNO. OH.....AND THE "CANDY CANE" WON'T BE A CANDY CANE MUCH LONGER, AND WON'T BE "ROLLING ON DONUTS" TO MUCH LONGER EITHER! AND AS FOR THE 12'S? THE NEXT 1/4 MILE PASS I MAKE WILL YEILD A 12........MARK MY WORDS! |

NO, I DON'T THINK I'M JOHN FORCE, NOR AM I PUTTING A 15/17 SLICK ON IT.....JUST STEPPING UP TO A SET OF 29/11/15 THAT I KINDA STUMBLED UPON (GOOD HAVING THOSE FRIENDS W/ 8-9 SECOND CARS). I'VE DONE SOME RESEARCH INTO SLICK SIZE VS RIM SIZE, AND THE BIGGER THE SLICK ON THE SMALLER RIM ACTUALLY HURTS PERFORMANCE. IT'S BETTER TO RUN A BIT MORE RIM THAN NOT ENOUGH. I'M SURE THOSE 9" SLICKS ARE PERFECT FOR YOU ON THOSE 8 1/2" WHEELS (ACTUALLY SOUNDS LIKE A REALLY GOOD SETUP). BUT DENNIS, NOONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR "WHIMPY" MOTOR (DEFINITLY NOT WHIMPY MR. #1!), BUT WE RUN 2 TOTALLY DIFFERENT COMBOS. I'M JUST ABOUT BLOWING THE TIRES OFF THESE 10" SLICKS NOW, SPRAYING OUTTA THE HOLE ON A 100 SHOT. IT WOULD JUST CREATE A SMOKESHOW W/ A BIGGER JETTING ON A WET KIT LIKE I'LL BE USING NEXT SEASON IF I DON'T STEP UP IN SLICK SIZE. RIGHT NOW I'M USING A 10.5" SLICK ON A 8" RIM & THIS COMBO IS PROBABLY HURTING ME. I EITHER HAVE TO GO BIGGER IN RIM, OR SMALLER IN SLICK AND THE SMALLER SLICK IS OUT OF THE QUESTION. NO, I DON'T THINK I HAVE A "FU$#$@$%ING PRO STOCK MOTOR UNDER THAT PIECE OF WHITE GLASS", BUT I DO HAVE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT COMBO THAN 'ANYONE' ELSE HERE! A COMBO'S PARTICULARS ALIEN TO MOST OF YOU. | Guest |  Captain I get so bored sometimes at work that I just think of crazy things to write and see what kind of responce I can get. I understand but can't comprehend what it is like to come out of the gate on spray Who knows the guy who put my blower on wants to put spray on my truck Don't take me seriously I'M messing with you . I can remember when I was a little boy and lived on a farm. The farm had alot of chicken coops and the over hangs had alot of wasp nests and I mean ones that were 6" in diameter. My brothers and I would get broom sticks and poke the nest and run like hell. Sounds like fun huh? The object was to dislodge the nest from the roof so you had to creep up close and plan your attack, many times you couldn't break loose the nest just squash it. Can you picture about 100 pissed off bee chasing your *** down a feild  Yea we got out asses stung and I was no Ben Johnson either ,more like Spanky on our gang. | Guest | Hey Larry? Check out the parts forum. Someone in Michigan just listed a set of welds for sale. 2-15/8's & 2-15/10's w/ tires, lugs, & caps for $400! Go get em', I promise I won't snatch em' up......well maybe, lol Email him about them, as of now there are no responses. |
