| Guest | Hey Larry & Justin, I finally got the chance to take my R out for a spin. Damn that car is a blast to drive! I managed to put all of about 10-15 miles on it. In that short time I squealed a little rubber, grabbed a couple gears, railed around a few corners, AND , got pulled over by the local police! Luckily he understood me & my car, told me to take it easy (with a Cobra R, is that possible?), and cut me loose. 'Nuff fun for one Sunday! Took it home, cleaned it,put it back in the shed, and covered it up. No harm done. | Guest | You guys ever hear the saying "walk softly but drive an unGODly fast Syclone"? OK,that was stupid, but my Sy DOES have a motor in it! We slapped it in last weekend. Just have to do some odds and ends to finish it before I can fire it up. Still waiting on a computer chip to control my new 50# flow matched injectors too. Geez, I hope it runs. We changed a bunch of things all at once. That makes me nervous. Anyway, I hope all of the hard work is behind me now. Just have to get it running, break it in, then tune it. After that I'll be looking to run it at the strip and DESTROY my previous best ET's. Can't wait! One of these days I have to get to the track. Haven't been there since I met you guys that night at Atco. Just need time. ![]() ------------------ Mike Hague '99 L Black 13.36@102.26 '95 Cobra R 13.18@106+ '91 GMC Syclone 12.0's@111.5,,,so far |
