Why do I have to log in every time?

Not sure if this is the board to ask this but it bugs me. What am I doing wrong or does everybody have to do this? This doesn't happen to me on the other L sites--or on the LS1 sites. Help!

Dan- try going to "preferences"...It will supposedly keep your username for 1 year.

Try submitting again, it should clear it up.

Same thing happens here, has been ever since I first signed up. I post messages, come back 4 hours later, and have to type my name/password back in, most of the time. And the 'last visited' times are only sometimes accurate, sometimes 2-3 days off. Think it's just something with the board s/w, it doesn't like us

Thanks guys--timack: appreciate your suggestion. I checked my profile and I think I see what's 'wrong'. I originally registered here at work and then when I got a home pc, changed my email to my home email addy. At work, everything 'works'--I don't have to log on--at home, I do. Funny thing though, I made the same changes(if that's my problem) to the other sites and don't have to register????

I believe that the problem is your browser settings (MS Explorer or Netscape), and that your cookies are not being saved.

Hey BigD' what needs to be done to correct this, and why does it work on the other sites? Mine used to work but stopped working some time ago.

Hello Dan,

You need to go to your browser preferences, and enable cookies, and maybe change the length of time before a cookie is deleted.

The best person to answer your questins is Speeding Bob...who is the resident expert

Probably the best thing to do, is to send Bob email (check his signature), and I am sure that he can help you
