| Guest |  Local Lightning Clubs Organizers And Spokespeople Please Read HALO,MiLOC,MKLO,ILLNESS,DelValLO,SOLO,washLO,LOLA, TALON,LOCO,BALA Hi This is my first opportunity to try and contact all the local clubs.I need to hear from you,preferably via phone,give me a call and ,give me your number and I'll call you back so you don't have a huge bill. We need to talk about the NLOC and the future of the club,and how your local clubs and the national club can interact. As some of you know I have assumed the NLOC.This was due to a lack of leadership on the National level.You people are doing great on the local level. My emphasis on the club is people,events,goals and a unification of all clubs at the national level.I need input from every local club so I can pass it on at the National level via newsletters,meetings,annual events and to merge new members into the local clubs. Just a brief example,If I get a new member from Ohio,they will be signed up at the local level,and then their name will be passed to SOLO alerting them there is a new member in their area,and the new member if they so desire can interact with the Local Chapter. This isn't an attempt to take all the clubs and merge them all into one,but we would like all clubs to have their members belong to the NLOC. I've been working with sponsors,vendors,and other members to make the NLOC more organized and a better club,member friendly. | Guest |  Hi Jerry! Sounds like your just what this club needed... Good work! As for the local club stuff I cant speak for the other's but I know that there's nothing really official about SOLO other than people chatting and occasionally getting together from the area... However I will be willing to help you out with anything you may require... Suggestion, I think the NLOC needs to have a large meet once a year preferably with a little racing evolved... I know that the 454 SS club and the Syclone and Typhoon club both seem to do this with great success! I think several of us would like to get together more than once a year at the WFC (I know I would!) Good luck with everything!!!!! | Guest |  Hey Jerry, like Dave mentioned for his group, the DelValley Lightning Group is nothing real official yet, but were working on it. I will give you a call later this evening or Monday night. | Guest | As far as a get-together in Ohio,Labor Day weekend every year National Trail Raceway has Expo Ford.That's 3 days swap meet,car show and racing.I go every year and this year I ran my Must.on Sat.and the L in the truck class on Sun.The truck class was new this year and I'm going to bug Charles Crites,the promotor,to bring it back again. ------------------ 95L 67Mustang 63Fairlane 79F150 71F100 87TBird5.0 95Taurus |

| Guest | Rohn We can have local meetings monthly and NLOC meetings yearly.We can pick a spot midway,or I'm open to any suggestions you may have,but to not meet is a mistake.So if it means me flying wherever that's fine as well.Were going to have Bi Monthly newsletters and need input from your area.It's a large country and sure it would be nice if we all lived in the same state , neighborhood,whatever,but We can function as a large club thru the local organizations and the NLOC.Simply put anything we can accomplish to move forward is better than what we have, Thanks and take care Jerry |

| Guest | Jerry this maybe a wild-goose chase but I have seen an ad. on TV or someplace, a national store chain had conference rooms for rent with telecon and or videophones. (I'm very haze about this.)The local clubs could rent once or more times a year for a national meeting va telecon as will as a meeting at a major event.
