As I recall the "end user adjustments" feature of the SCT XCal2 can be turned off by the tuner who sold you yours and their tunes. And I don't anyone other than that tuner or someone else who has similar SCT software could "turn it on" so you can make the adjustments you want.

So do you think another sct dealer that has the software can "unlock" it for me if i e-mailed them mt tunes or only the original tuner ? thanks

Good question. I'm sure most "tuners" wouldn't want "other tuners" to see their products and at the same time may be reluctant to find themsleves in a position of being "accused" of "tampering" with someones product. Perhaps SCT themselves would be willing to help you out.

Another SCT Tuner cant "see the other tuners tunes" just from looking at the unit or hooking it up to their tuning software. If you want the tunes that you currently have to offer user adjustments you will need to have that tuner send you ll3 files of your tune(s) that have user options enabled.

Any other SCT Dealer would have to make you new tunes and then send them to you with user options enabled.

Most tuners wont enable user options because they dont want to take the risk of allowing you to add too much spark or take away too much fuel causing an issue, however I always enable user options and educate the customer on how to correctly use them.

I hope this information helps,
