Is the new vBulletin sluggish or what?

I've tried it on both my new iMac and my XP machine and it seems like I'm using a garden hose with a LaFrance fire pumper. It is painful. Is there a fix?

try it from another internet connection ...

The VB update was VERY minor - would not have impacted the sites performance - mostly bug fixes and a security update
