| Chuck Green Paid Member | What is a Yahoo! slurp spider? What is it? I was looking under the section "Who's on-line" as I was going down the list of screen names, an I came across one of these Yahoo! slurp spider names, an it shows what their viewing on side of their screen name. Well, one of the "spiders" was viewing "Pickrel Performance is now closed" (something like that)....an at the top it showed that the thread was in a parked SV (supporting Vender) area. I never seen this section of the board before (maybe a section that only the Admin. and Mods could only see???). That section isn't listed on the main index. (atleast I never saw it)...was that a restricted area? Thanks, Chuck |

| Former Lightning Owner Paid Member | Spiders are what does the work for search engines They simply follow and record links - They have no more access than any other guest As the forum has changed and supporting vendors have changed sections are added and removed from view |
