How to leave feedback when thread is gone?

This has happened a couple times to me now. I have purchased an item from the classified section here and then the item is listed as sold and in a couple days it disappears. Then I receive the part in the mail and want to leave some good feedback but the deal thread is gone making it tough to leave the feedback. Anyone else have this problem? Let me know if I am doing something wrong BigD or another way we should leave feedback. Thanks
