Search engine OR'ing instead of AND'ing

I've noticed this since the upgrade. When I put a string of words into a search query, like `99" serpentine belt`, it doesn't search for the existence of all of those words in a post, like it used to. Instead, it matches every post that has "belt" in it, even if it doesn't have the other two words.

Is there a way to switch this back to the old style. I've tried manually forcing it to use all of the words, by using + and putting them in quotes, but it still only does an OR comparison. And, brings up hundreds of useless threads (try searching for "aluminum intake spacer", wow!)

I've noticed that too. It makes searching pretty difficult.

Brian is correct. I was wondering why it took longer to find something...too time consuming.
