Clonetek deleted my post when i was trying to sell my parachute because of an ebay link. That is understandble but why are my post about me selling my long block be deleted. No bidding or links at all just wanted some offers.

I don't think you are supposed to take offers or allow a highest bidder scenario with your items

You could ask in this forum what a fair price is for an item then post it as such in the for sale area

hope this helps

Cyntaxx is not a moderator here, but I dont know where your threads are going. You cannot "take offers" on items because thats a bidding type deal.

I'm not sure what many of you do for a living, but ireguardless life is about sales. Whether you are selling a product or yourself to a (potential g/f, boss, etc...), you are selling your image, personality and what you have to offer. In posting a product with a "make an offer", you are simply asking someone to tell you what that product is worth. By doing this single act in itself it does not create a bidding situation. In fact it is the rule of supply/demand and the implementation by the potential buyers that does. On a similar note, it also varies on intent of sale. Wether I'm trying to get the highest price or actually get "a price" that will sufice my needs. I find it insulting to our liberties and membership to generalize and carry out this blind judgement.

Dont think I could have said it better myself. What does it matter how we sale the item? Hell I dont care. If I think the guy is to high I'll offer a lower price regardless of how he is trying to sell the item.....................You make a good point Jake. Maybe we can get a good answer as to why we have these rules here.
