I think Byron has come up with a chip for the Gen 2s. Joe C. should have all the details - he usually knows way more of what Byron is up tp than the rest of the world.

I'm sure he'll be at this: http://nloc.org/ubb/Forum25/HTML/000057.html

He uses the Apex dyno machine for dyno tuning...

Byron can hook you up, he is the man.
He also just got a '93 L so he will be more involved with the Lightnings.

Question

Anyone know how much experience he has tuning L's?? I wonder how many custom L chips he's done?? Ones, tens, hundreds?? I guess you dont need as much experience as Sal or JDM, but I sure would hate to be his 4th Lightning tune...

You should contact him and go watch him tune, he's either at Apex or Mustang Ranch almost every weekend and during the week. I'v known him personally for about a year now and besides being a good guy he tunes on the side of saftey and is carefull. Without saying too much there are other Lightning Tuners across the country that sell products Byron's developed and use his knowledge about the trucks. Ask Sparkman what he thinks, he's been to both my dyno sessions with him.

I saw him at Apex get over 400+HP out of an almost stock G2 after 3 dyno pulls and some settings changes.

If I can ever get on a dyno with him, he'll be tuning my Gen 1 all through it's evolution.

Byron just referred me to Sal at PSP. Is everyone pleased with his product?

What does that mean? He's not tuning L's anymore? Just too busy? Did you **** him off (j/k)?

I'm confused?!

I'm totally happy with his work, wonder why he didn't want to do it?

I think that his expertise may be in Gen 1 Lightnings. But that is a guess.
I think i will be happy with a PSP flip chip, he even has one with 4 positions. I wonder if one of them will get me 30 miles per gallon.
