Talking EXTUDE HONE:

I sent my lower intake to Extrude Hone yesterday and will let you all know how it looks when I get it back, hopefully in time to put it back on and get to the dyno on the 21st.

Whoa.....does this kinda thing happen very often around here?

Note to self: stay clear of BALA board.....and stay on the east coast!

Hey, this is California, ya know?

Joe just gets a little excited about his truck, that's all. You should have heard his reaction to how his truck sounded after the head/cam install!

All kidding aside, it makes me miss the excitement (NO, not THAT kind) I used to feel about working on my L1. Somewhere along the line I think I just overdosed - maybe when the whole thing became a "job."

California.....that's it.

Dumb question - how far are you guys from Reno or Carson City, Nevada? I'll have a ton of business out there for the next year-and-a-half and will be making rather frequent trips. Not sure how far it would be to hook up with you guys on a weekend...

I'm busting at the seams to get working on my ol' truck. I've got soooooo many parts sitting around but no time/place to install them. But we'll have that situation changed by next winter.....I'll probably be even more excited than Joe.

I'm about three hours from Reno. Let me know when you're going to be in town and I'll grab a room one weekend night and make the drive up. It's a GORGEOUS drive, so it won't hurt my feelings at all to come visit.

Or, if you're up for the drive, there's plenty to do around SF and plenty of sofa space at home to crash on.

Later!

Cool

Cool. Thanks guys. I'll have to look up on the map where y'all are exactly.

It's going to be a few weeks before I head back out there, but I will let you know. Most of the time I won't be spending weekends out there, but in the event that I do, we should definately catch up one way or another. I have been flying into Reno and staying in Carson. But like I said, I'll be out there for at least the next year-and-a-half on and off so there's bound to be some time...

I've got to say that the most interesting thing to me about "out West" is checking out all those rust-free old Mustangs sitting around everywhere and still on the road. I think some junkyard-hopping is in order. UPS is probably gonna love me until it's all said and done.

We'll be in touch...

Later!
