Good Guys on the 24th

Ok, gang, what say we hook up at the Rings Super Burgers at the corner of Bernal and Valley again before the show on the 24th? That way we can park together again.

What's an appropriate meeting time from you veterans?

I was finally able to spend some time getting the '00 up to some kind of presentable condition this weekend. I think it had been waxed once since it was new, but is now enjoying a slathering of Zaino and will receive another couple of coats before the 24th. The bad thing is that the enhanced shine brings out some of the "ouchies" in the finish. It looks fine from 5' away, but there are enough fine scratches from the lack of wax to make me nuts (Ok, nuttier).

I have done GoodGuy shows in the past and can tell you the earlyer the better by 9.00 am its perty full I would say 7.30 to 8.00 am at the latest.

Dammit I wanna go but my tonnue cover looks like dog dooo and I need to get it repainted. BAH!!!!!!!

So what, come anyway! It's not like you're competing for a trophy. I'll be there in (probably) a stock truck with a stained bed rug (they get that way when carry engines and transmissions).

7:30 at Rings and and then all-you-can-eat Riblets at Applebees afterwards!! Whatcha say?!?

Jeff,

I'm new to the board, what time to meet on the 24th? I recently took my 2000 to Sacramento and pulled a 13.7 @ 98mph with only K&N. Would like to make some "improvements" and discuss what other Lightning owners are doing.

I started cleaning up my truck today. Major wash, strip, polish and wax action. I couldn't find the new Zaino stuff so I used the Meguiar's system and it worked very well but my shoulder is killing me now. What are the fee's for showing a vehicle? John Webb emailed me and is coming but I think he is going be in the car corral again trying to sell his Tbolt, which means his truck will have a trailer and no be able to park with us. Are we doing this on Saturday or Sunday, I think its a two day event.

Its $30 for one day. I am preregisterd #664. Last time I did a GoodGuys show there was over 2000 cars. So bring a good pair of walking shoes or a good chair and watch the show go by you. Oh and bring some cash you never know what you might find in the swap meet...
