Unhappy Dark Day

Well I have just witnessed what happens when a Buick LeSabre hits one of our trucks broadside doing about 65mph. Unfortunatly the truck was mine. My brother and I are ok with the exception of my face being burned from the air bag. I had everything in that truck. After all, I am only 19 and if you think building something like this is easy making $11/hr with absolutly no financial help from the parents, please let me in on the secret. Everything seems to be in tact, and as some of you know it had some parts of value. I think I will be parting out the whole thing and wanted to let you guys know first. I havent had a chance to get a real good look at it yet, but the motor was still running and the blower still whining even after the fact. Just thought I'd see if anyone is interested in anything let me know by posting here. Thanks and hopefully I will be able to hang out and B/S with some of you at the GG show.

Formerly,

ouchh!!..glad to hear you got out ok. I also just turned 23 and building this truck up myself is a tedious journey. I would hate to have it crashed
If you have a slick/rim combo to part out, or some traction bars i will definately be interested.

Unhappy

Oh good Lord, Dan! I guess we won't be going for a ride tonight? That REALLY stinks, but I'm glad you're OK. The sheetmetal can be repaired or replaced, the human parts can't...

Don't start selling parts yet! You have an insurance claim it sounds like and that could work to your advantage.

Man, I do feel your pain.

I'm free tomorrow (Wednesday) evening if you'd like to get together. You know the number!

Later!
