I guess it's time to start to "formalize" our growing group. Dan has brought up March 14th at Sears Point, then there's the Goodguys shows in Pleasanton, Fab Fords down in So Cal (should be fun to get a bunch of us together for) etc.

Dave, you should really consider buying an Impala SS. You could then join the "Baton Rouge Area SS Nuts"... or "BRASS Nuts" for short. Coming up with a club name like that takes some real cajones!!

Guys: i'll probably be at the knotts berry farm show. It would be cool to see some of you guys. I wish we had enough people in So Cal to start a chapter. There are tons of 1st gens out here, just no one knows about this board.

If you whant to have a get together at a track you might try Sacramento Raceway. They have test and tune on satudays from 10am to 3pm.Sears Point can get 300 cars pluss on wednesday night.You don't get a lot of track time.Sac you can get a lot more track time in. Ther wednesday night drags starts Feb 14th.

I've been to Sears Point twice, both times I only got 3 runs in!!!!
I think it's $17.00 to run plus the 2 tanks of fuel(up & back) and the $10.00 hamberger makes for an expensive night!!!!

Let's try Sacto, from what I understand from my viper buddy they are pretty laxed there also.

OK some of the L owners on SVT perf board where trying to get together on Sat FEB 24 there is brackret racing on the 25th if you whant to give it a try.SAC Race way has a web page at www.sacamentoraceway.com it has map and info give it a look see....
