Expedition- door key code

Hey all
We are in Floriday right now and have rented an Expedition EL. It's a base vehicle but has the keypad entry. What I don't have is a code. I know that on the older cars, not sure if they still do, they had the code under the dash on a white sticker on the control box. I didn't see anything with a 5 digit code down there. Does anyone know where this code may be? and how to put our own code in?
Thanks in advance!!!

easiest thing to do is go to a ford dealership and they pull the code with a scanner. they dont put them in the car any ware. only thing they put it on is a card that comes with the owners manuel that the size of a credit card.

hope this helps.

Thanks for the dealer info.

No card or manual in the glovebox. Just a rental for 12 days. They don't want us to get to use to it.

As for the places of the code, they do, or did put them in places on vehicles, not just the card. My SHO had it on it's controller near the gas pedal. My F150 had it near the steering column on a controller box.
Just wondering where it might be on the newer Expeditions.

On my '04 Expediton the controller is tucked up in next to the heater blower. Flip the glove box down past it's stoppers and you should see it next to the heater box that is unless Ford found a new hiding spot.

HI
Thanks. I checked that location and didn't see a code-like sticker. Truck is gone now anyhow. Thanks
