View this user's gallery iTrader: 15 / 100% | This thread REALLY needs put back in the Gen. 1 section to get the attention it deserves. I know this is a Bronco, but give me (us) a break. EVERYTHING on this applies to the 93-95 L's,........ not just random project for any old vehicle. FWIW,......there's several guys on here that post things (builds & projects) with their F-150 (not an L) and I don't see any problem with those. All of these trucks are a dying breed,......and I really don't think we need to be splitting hairs keeping things that are related,..... segregated. ![]() |

| Registered User | The rear is probly 20 pounds less due to lack of leaf springs. The front im sure is at least 50 or more pounds..I did the cougar rearend because it has disk brakes and 8.8 diff and trac lock.. i am also going to look into using a truck 31 spline trac lock and 03/04 cobra 31 spline axles which are a lot beefier.. |

| Guitarbuddy Paid Member | Subscribing. I saw this done to an earlier model (79) Ford PU and was wondering how it would fit the Lightning frame. On the 79, the CV cradle lined up with frame rails and he just had to drill holes and weld in tubing for the big bolts. Interested to see how you will fabricate mounting plates to line up with bolt holes on cradle. Also, do you have an idea how low it will sit? Good luck and have fun with the build. |
