How do I get into S.E.M.A ?

Look me and my dad have been sema fans for years, only thing is its not open to general public and we're not going to fly way out there just to tour the parking lot. So is there a way to get in with out braking the law. Can you but tickets or something like that. I think its just plain wrong for the consumers of these products not to be let in to see them. What do they think will happen I'll take a photo of a crank shaft and start making my own? Anyway you can't expect me to belive that all those people walking around at the show ie.. if you see it on some car show on tv are in the business.

its not easy to get in..

shops or businesses only get 2 tickets and you have to, be for lack of better words "worthy" to get in.. a few friends of mine go every year because they both have pretty sick lexus's and say that their shop built the parts on them(or something like that).

you might want to try something like that.. but its not easy..

You can get more than 2 tickets per shop, last year we had 4 people from our shop and this year we have 8 people going.

Last year I got in as the the promoters of a motor event--LightningFest.

This year our application was turned down as "NO Car Clubs Allowed!--even as event promoters!"

Switch to plan B. Nan and I own a corporation from a business that we sold. Nan made business cards from that corp and we are employed by it's racing division.

You will also need a company registration, state or local will do, or as we did, our old federal tax ID # and fax it along with the business card.

We registered 3 people, and I did not see a limit when registering.

If you can get a Id card, make sure you get one that says BUYER. People will talk to you with that card.
