Post Late 90s Jeep sport 4.0

Anyone drive one of these? What do you think of it? Any problems with it? How much should they sell for these days?

I am considering one for winter, daily use and also to tinker with and put a radio in. Use it for my high mileage trips home and whatnot.

Thanks for the info.

I havent heard too many good things about Jeeps. Also the 4.0 I-6 is a gas hog. Jeeps do look cool though.

My brother owned one. You don't want to take high mileage trips in it. About 300 miles is about all I could stand, but they are fun to play in. Be prepared to replace parts regularly.

Then Engine's leak oil and also when they get over 80k on them they will also suffer from blow by. You will get oil in the air filter due to a lack of a proper PCV system.

The water pumps leak, the radiators clog and are expensive to replace, the front ends are junk and the transfer cases have problems as well.

Do not get one if it has over 80k on it.

I have worked on plenty of Jeeps with over 100k, and they really dont blow up, but they just fall apart and nickle and dime you to death.. JMHO JJ
