Thumbs up

JBLsilver01,
Nice bike, I am glad to see fellow lightning owners also enjoy Harley's. Here is a picture of mine, I will get a new one when it comes out of storage in the spring. I have lowered it since then and did the Zippers 95 muscle kit, and a bunch of more chrome since then. I got first place in my class on a dyno shootout this year, 107 H.P. and 117 foot pounds of torque. Not bad for a bagger.

Bill

Cool bikes, My mom wants to sell or trade one of her Harleys. The one she want to sell is a 01 FLHT. Just turned 1000 miles and had the 1000 miles check up done. She is asking$16,250 or trade for a mustang or Lightning.

Hey Bill, Banshees are the ****!!! I had a loaner one for about three days and it was not running real good, it would only hit on 175cc's up until about 6 grand, then the other 175cc's would kick in and try to put me on my *** . I had to give it back because I am only a buck 40 and would have been killed if I rode it the way I ride my RM.

Fat boys ride 4 wheelers Just kiddiing.

Have a great winter up there and I look forward to seeing you at Cecil next/this year.. take care Bill.. JJ

JJ,
The Banshee is a blast, I have had a few dirt bikes and a few other 4wheelers in the past. I do miss the dirt bikes though, when I bought my Banshee I was trying to talk two of my friends to buy dirt bikes but they wanted 4 wheelers so that is what I ended up buying.
140, that is light, if you had the crash that I had on my Banshee you would be dead for sure. I broke 7 ribs, punctured and calapsed one of my lungs and did a class three seperation on my right shoulder. The Doctor said if it was my Brother in law (who was riding with me and brought me to the hospital) that had the accident he would probably be dead, him weighing about 160 and me 215. he said that the only thing that saved me was my size. So being fat does help you sometimes
Anyway I look forward to seeing you at some of the meets and wish you luck in your bussiness nezt year.

Happy New Year.
Bill

Chris Wood, This is off the subject of this thread, but I see you have a Capri. I have an 86. Mine has a 393 in it, with EFI on it. Its in the mid-upper 11's now, hopefully I can get in the low 11's high 10's this year.

Hey Bill, I will definitly see you at some meets this coming year. I gotta represent the White Lightning's, all these other colors claim to be the fastest, but I think we can show them a thing or two .

I think with the wreck you described and your injuries, if that would have been me, I would have probably vaporized, but I did have a wreck that was bad back in the day.

I was on my KDX200 trail riding with some friends near some old gravel pits and we were running around this makeshift track that finished with a 12 ft jump up to a flat landing area, well everyone was siting on their bikes getting ready to move on to the next area of riding when I said I was gonna do one more lap then we could go, and to see how much air I got on that last jump up to where they were sitting.

All was going fine until I made the last turn towards the jump, when I turned my bars straight, the throttle cable got hung up WIDE OPEN in third gear. I didnt have time to react and hit the jump full throttle in third gear.

When I saw the tops of the trees off to my right and nothing but flat land below me,I decided it wouldnt be a good idea to try to stay with the bike, so I kinda swam away from it, and landed with a thud.

I got knocked out and bit thru my lower lip and broke my nose, amazingly I rode the twisted bike back home. We measured it off a few days later and I flew 78 ft about 35-40 feet in the air.

My friends all witnessed it and said that if they had a video camera, it would have made me some money..

Happy New Year Everybody. see ya soon Bill....... JJ
