Thats a really awesome system!!!!
I guess your going for top of the line, if you are there are a few things that could be better on your comp.
1st: There is currently a GeForce 3 ultra (ti 500) and Radeon 8500, both of which are faster than the regular GeForce 3
2nd: Make sure you get the Sound Blaster Audiology PLATINUM. That has the head unit that goes where your Cd rom drives are, plus it has better sound quality than the mp3+ and X-gamer Audiology cards.
3rd: Are the 5.1 the Klipsh 5.1? If not, I HIGHLY recommend getting them. I have the 4.1 and they are awsome. The 5.1 push out 500 watts of power. Nothing can come close to them, unless you want to spend 1000 dollars on speakers.

Its pretty easy to put together. You can use cables and stuff from your old comp. You can come on this board if you ever get stuck on something.

Very impressive, it'll go far, and I don't see any problems with the combo. And like was previously mentioned, I'd highly recommend Klipsch Pro-media speakers. Nothing can compare to them.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I was going to get that new Ti500 just cound't recall the name of it and the THX 5.1 is the Kliptsch just can't spell that, lol.

I will make sure its the Platnium on that sound card wasn't sure on that one.

It will be nice to get this. Should run circles around my 16mb graphics, PII450 with PC100 ram at 256mb.

I am hoping to get the parts for like 1500 or less. Been looking at pricewatch. I am wondering if anything new is coming out soon I should wait for? So that when this is built its not outdated literally the next day or something.

Thanks.

try to get a 350-400 watt power supply.. it will make future upgrades easier.
(you can't have too much power)

you may want to look into getting the sound blaster platinum eX.
http://www.soundblaster.com/products/audigyplatinumex/
it has an external breakout box instead of one that goes in the front of the computer. if you plan on running fiber optic (digital) to those 5.1 speakers, this will come in handy.
the wire coming out of the front of your case could get knocked out or broken if your case is in a high traffic area, or if you sit close to it.

you also might consider getting a 21" monitor. they can be found for as little as $300 + shipping!
(my 21" viewsonic monitor was $1000 when it first came out)

check several places for the best prices.
http://www.pricewatch.com/
http://www.pricegrabber.com/

hope this helps.
