Post The Ford Collection

Does anybody order from these idiots? They screwed up my last order bad. They said the numbers were mixed up in the catalog and on the internet. Fine, took the (Cobra, no L available) shirt to the PO for return. Called and gave them the ship back price that they wanted. I am being charged the shipping price, "because it already shipped." So I paid 10 bucks for the privelege of running around correcting THEIR DAMN MISTAKE! This is the last straw with these morons! I will never again order another thing from these losers and I suggest the same for everybody here. That's also what I told them on the phone. Hopefully somebody from there drives an L and frequents this board because I am letting everyone that I even think orders from them know about their customer service.

Sorry to hear about that Stevie! I've had nothing but good service with them. I've ordered literally hundreds of $ worth from them. I certainly will keep it in mind and lay it on them if they do goof it up next time. If I call in the order I always remember the persons name. I never write in the order because that gives them the leverage to say I goofed it up. I never pay shipping back if they goof the order. Got some freebies from Jeg's that way.

[Scowling and spitting][rant on] What the hell happened to offering the customer something more expensive along the same line? Most other companies have done this in the past. Sorry no Lightning merchandise and since we already shipped you the wrong stuff, you still have to pay S&H. Oh but we will credit your account with the value of the merchandise we screwed up on and the price to send it back, but that's all. Sounds like a good way to make money to me. Just ship everybody the wrong crap over and over and make a fortune on S&H. I've ordered many items from them in the past and until now, the only things I've had to contend with was endless waiting on the phone/being cutoff so even more waiting/out of stock more than in stock. Gitchi,

If you paided for it with a credit card You should call and dispute the charges. Let the CC company know that they did not ship what they were supose to and refuse to pay for it.

Where Y'at Stevie Ray, I hope you didn't ship it out yet. There is something you can do. Call them back & insist that since they screwed up they give you a return authorization no. then bring to UPS or who ever they want to ship with. If they give you any crap about it, call you credit card co. They can put pressure on them.
The bottom line is you shouldn't pay shipping for their screw up. Good Luck. Let us know what happens.

At least they didn't charge you a 20% restocking fee for their mistake! *grumbling at godfathers customs*
