| Guest | Gonna be tough waiting until June! My girlfriend signed me up for the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Kentucky Motor Speedway. Was wondering if any of you have done this and what insight you can offer if so. Guess I'll have to start pushing the L a little harder for practice! ![]() |

| Guest | I did the King's Experience last fall at the Kansas Speedway (was my wedding present from my wife). The first few laps scared the bu-Jesus out of me until I got used to the car. You are in the car by yourself and follow an instructor around. You have no radio contact with anyone, either. It's a little different to get used to. I've driven almost everything BUT an asphalt car and it was definitely an experience. The staff was better than any staff at any business or attraction that I've ever been to and there are plenty of them around. I'd do it again if I had the cash. It was like the baddest roller coaster at the theme park; you're scared at first, but after you've taken a few laps, the fun really starts and once you've really started to enjoy it, the ride's over. I took 18 laps and would have liked to do 25 or 30. You'll definitely enjoy it... ------------------ Brendon Hale Black '94L #620 born Thursday, February 24, 1994 NLOC #662 (future testbed for No Control Motorsports) Green(ish) '84 Bronco II-Gets bad gas mileage, but has a little 2.8L with NO POWER!!!-gettin' sold.
