Just got back from a road trip to fortworth and back, and we took the bmw for the first time and agian im impressed with this car!
I havent driven the beemer in a few months and its got the power to spare and the handling is top notch.
80 to 100 is effortless and 120 is right there!
I mean right there 120-140 easy!
I know our Ls would be right there and in the passing lane baby!!!!!!!!!

I know what you're sayin'. I almost bought my wife an older 325i. We were really impressed with it's get 'em and handling. The only thing that scared me was the thought of trying to repair anything (it was an older one). We ended up buying a 96 Impala, that was a mistake. Even with the higher price of German parts, we would have been money ahead with the older BMW. Is your insurance high? I got the rare chance to play in a Z3 this summer. It was a bit slow off the line but, as soon as you get the RPM's up it ran well. That thing handled like nothing else I've ever been in! Post a pic of your car, if you don't mind, I'd like to see it.

I agree, my 528 wagon is like butter. I think my next vehicle will be a BMW what I don't know, but a 745i would be nice

Love our 330i but cannot wait until the M comes in. So far the 330i is my favorite non-M we have owned. Just added a B&B TriFlo exhaust that sounds sweet. Nice throaty rumble at idle and at about 5000 rpm's it sounds like a Ferrari. This is BMW #6 and counting.

Nice choice Silverbolt. I currently have the Dinan exhaust on my 99 M3. I've heard the B&B Triflow on some M3's it sure is throaty!Thats going to be a sweet collection when you add the 02 M3 with SMG. It sucks that BMW isn't bringing the launch control program with the SMG. Supposedly the launch control is really bad for the longevity of the transmission. Hopefully in the next few months I'll have a Lightning as well so I can join you guys.

Come on in man!!!!!!
Im almost finished with the truck and the 328 is next.
Its a 96 328i with 26000 on it and all good miles and not a single problem with it.
The only time it gets a good workout is when i get to go to the store every once in a while and get sideways a few times in her!!!!!
The wife likes to go fast and has no idea what we can do with this stock unit with just a few boly ons, headers and a filter seem to be pretty easy install!
Any suggestions appreciated!
Only have a few bad pics but here they are-

Thanks FAT! If you're going to go with a chip I recommend going with Dinan. As far as the intake goes alot of guys seem to be happy with the Dinan and ECIS kits. Actually my next mod on my car is the Dinan Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake. It performs well and it looks great.

Bavarian has screaming deals on the TriFlo exhaust. Sounds great and looks awesome. I am playing with a self made ram-air setup on the 330i using the factory airbox. Don't have much planned for the 330i. With the factory sport pack the suspension is pretty good. Still plan strut bars and the Dinan trans program. Factory wheels and tires look good, 17x7.5 225-40 front, 17x8.5 245-40 rear. Silver/Gray. It's also my wifes car so I get to drive it occsionally. Have never had any major problems with any of our BMW's. Talk about dealer service, nothing compares. Not even Mercedes, been down that road also.
